Sun-kissed glamour: the step-by-step guide
Contrary to popular belief, glamour isn’t just an evening thing. For yesterday’s brunch celebrating the launch of the Too Faced x Pop & Suki set—a pink Pop & Suki makeup case with Too Faced’s Better Than Sex mascara inside—RHW and makeup artist Nikki DeRoest created a polished, sun-kissed makeup look with a little extra gorgeousness. Because if you can add a little sparkle to a Monday, why not? Here’s how to create the look for yourself.
SKIN
DeRoest gave RHW’s skin a mini-spa treatment by massaging it with Nars Optimal Brightening Concentrate and a few drops of Mara Universal Face Oil. Next, to create a radiant base, she applied By Terry Cellularose Brightening CC Lumi-Serum in Apricot Glow. Over that, she layered on a light amount of Giorgio Armani Beauty Power Fabric Longwear High Cover Foundation and Neo Nude powder. To cover minor imperfections, she used Nars Creamy Concealer—one of RHW’s favorites, if you’re keeping track at home.
To create the warm, peachy glow on Rosie’s cheeks, DeRoest used multiple products. For natural-looking warmth, she chose Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base (another frequent RHW go-to). Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Fluid in Sunkissed provided a luminous, tawny finish. On cheeks, Chanel Joues Contraste blush in Golden Sun gave a light-reflecting, holiday-in-Ibiza vibe. The Insta-ready finale: a few swipes of Hourglass Vanish Flash Highlighting Stick in Champagne Flash to accentuate cheekbones.
EYES
The warm, shimmery shades in BareMinerals Gen Nude eyeshadow palette in Copper provided contrast to RHW’s blue eyes. DeRoest further defined her eyes with two coats of Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, plus a few individual lashes.
BROWS
Fullness is the word here. DeRoest filled in brows using Chanel Crayon Sourcils and kept them in place with a few strokes of Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Eyebrow Mascara.
LIPS
The finishing touch: Too Faced Natural Nudes Lipstick in Pout About It. Then, RHW slipped into her Monse ensemble, donned her heels, and it was off to the brunch.
