A smoky eye for Versace—and the secrets behind it

As part of RHW’s glam team for last night’s Versace show, makeup artist Nikki Wolff complemented her midriff-baring, sparkling pantsuit with a glimmering smoky eye to match. After applying foundation and concealer as needed, she used Kat Von D Shade + Light Crème Contour Palette and a highlighting wand to sculpt and luminize Rosie’s cheeks. BareMinerals Gen Nude Powder Blush in Call My Blush warmed up the apples of her cheeks, while a dusting of By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Powder locked in the look.

On eyes, Laura Mercier Caviar Eyeshadow Stick in Fog created a soft matte finish. To create the smoked-out effect, Wolff used Diorshow Fusion Mono Matte Eyeshadow in Nocturne, a pearlescent black shadow, with Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Shadow in Molten Midnight for light-catching sparkle. Before RHW dashed off to the show, Wolff outlined her lips with KKW Beauty Matte Smoke Liner in 90’s Supermodel, then applied Buxom Pillow Pout Creamy Plumping Lip Powder in Soft Whisper—a subtle yet alluring statement perfectly suited for one of Milan’s most consistently sexy shows.
